May Stitch From Stash

Hello Everyone...

It's time for the monthly Stitch From Stash report!

This challenge is being hosted by Mel from Epic Stitching

We are on month 5 and I still have not spent any money :)  yippee!!

This month I did not even get the freebie chart from Stoney Creek because I am not really into birds. I did however get some new stash compliments of my lovely daughter; Tia! It was Mother's Day here in the States and I was lucky enough to score this great chart along with this pretty DMC and a bunch of needlethreaders for an upcoming Facebook SAL hosted by Love Thy Thread.

So here is my report for:   May

Amount Spent:   $0

Year to date Amount Spent:   $0

Total Saved Based on this challenge:   $125

New Starts from Stash:   Two new starts for May

Darth Vader
Dork Stitch!
This is an online freebie
Darth Vader was also a FINISH :)

Today Is Not Your Day!

WIPs worked on: I worked on one piece from the WIP pile.

July 2012 Cross Stitch Gold Magazine

I am still moving the money into my checking account for Christmas shopping; so I am POSITIVE I can make it thru another month which would put me at a half of a year of no stash spending! I hope that you are doing great with this challenge too and managing to stay within your budget. Seems like it is getting a little easier every month since I have been going thru my stash pile reminding myself of all the great charts and kits I have already purchased for SOMEDAY!

See you at the end of June
with another SFS Report!

Well done on another zero spend month. I have found this challenge to be really great for stopping me from spending and get more stash I don't need.

Great job on your zero spend! I'm still debating about that Stoney Creek Chart. I really like it, but I have enough to work on... hmmm... : ) We'll see if I cave in before the end of the month!

Way to go, Faith! How wonderful that your daughter gifted you with stash, so you can join the SAL. You're a blessed mama and she's a blessed daughter!
I love you "Dark Side" finish! I'm working on that freebie right now for my son. :)

Congrats on no spending, Faith. I don't know that I've seen that DMC floss color before. It's very pretty!
