This year I decided that I am NOT joining a bunch of different groups and starting lots of new things. I have done that for the last couple of years and the only thing that did was add to my UFO / WIP pile and my stress level! LOL I already have lots of pieces to finish (I hope) and LOTS more to add into the rotation.
I did rejoin the Stitch From Stash group though because I feel it made me really think about any purchases I wanted to make instead of just throwing it in my cart and hitting the BUY button!
Since this is my first post of 2015 I
must show you my new Ortament.
This was made with my
orts from my 2014 stitching.
And this is what I have been working on so far this year...
Shades of Blue
Progress as of 01/11/15
Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Nice progress! It's always great to clean out the ort jar and start new, isn't it?

I make ornaments too! And your stitching is lovely!
I also filled an ornament and even put the date on the bottom! I may just collect them! LOL! Dh just rolls his eyes. Love your stitching.
It's coming along beautifully, Faith!
Faith, we would NEVER just throw things into our carts and hit the BUY button! :) I love Pieces of Blue!
Faith, love our current project. You won't be sorry about joining SFS 2015. You will finish more things and save a tone of money! Happy New Year! Hugs, Christiina
Love the ornament ball!!
Very pretty stitching!
I did the same thing one year. Joined a crazy january and still have them sitting, unfinished.
Stitch from stash does keep one in line, doesn't it.
I have an ORT ornament as well. Shadess of Blue is beautiful! This is going to be my WIP year - I have to get some of my pile finished.
Such a pretty ortament!!! I'm Like you this year, I'm going to be stitching solo this year... Without joining any groups or sal's. I' too am back-on-board w/ stitch from stash again...it's been so good for me to realize what stash treasures I already have. I look forward to healthy, happy updates from you in the New Year!

I love the ort ornament!! I think I am going to do this for next year! What a great idea! I didn't join a lot of groups this year either, I started to feel like stitching was a job instead of something that I did to relax. So I have 1 Sunday SAL that I am doing with a friend of mine that we have done for years now and that's going to be it. I should do the stitch from stash because lord knows I can do that from now until the end of time
Shades of blue is fantastic and I love your ort ornament!
