My Sunday Stitchy Update

Hello Friends!

Hope you have all had a great week filled with stitching and other fun filled things :)

These past few weeks I have been stitching on the piece for my brother and I REALLY want to get it finished SOON.  I am just about finished with the stitching on the last Dreamcatcher and then I will need to do the back stitch and then...I can add the feathers!

Dreamcatchers
Designer - Joan Elliott
 Progress as of 06/12/16

Progress as of 06/19/16

I want to have it finished by the end of the month so hopefully I will find some daily motivation to work on it!

Which brings me to July 1st!  I am joining Justine with her Just One July SAL!  Last time she had a monthly SAL like this everyone made so much progress and I was mad at myself for not joining in since I NEED lots of motivation to work on Dinosaurs and make some serious progress on it!

This is my latest progress picture

Dinosaurs!
Design by Stephen Michael Gardner
Progress as of  03/03/16
6 pages completed and 14 to go!

I know I won't finish all 14 (that would be a miracle!) but I would like to finish at least one and if it is at all possible; maybe two!

If you have a piece that you would like to work on exclusively (or mainly) in July then head on over to Justine's and leave her a reply on her blog! I am sure that she would love it if lots of people signed up because you know what they say, the more the merrier!

Almost forgot to mention the weather!  Today Tucson reached 115°!! They were predicting 120° so they weren't to far off.  The humidity is only 4% so when they say it is a "dry heat" they really mean it.
I believe they said it was the hottest day in 22 years!
My daughter said that we got to to AZ just in time!  LOL

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

I love the progress you've made on both projects. Good luck on your SAL with Justine! I will be watching the progress on Dinosaurs. WOW you have it bad there with heat I was complaining about 93F with 83% humidity. We are expecting hi 90's with a humidity of 90%.

Love the progress on Dreamcatchers. I'm sure you can make some good progress on the Dinosaurs piece. Be sure to keep us up to date with your progress! I wish you could parcel up some of the sun and send it here - we're under a huge rain cloud again today!

Whew... 115F is HOT! It's been in the lower 90's here, but with a LOT of humidity.

Your stitching looks good. Good luck on finishing it in July. I'm going to click over and check out Justine's blog.

You've done really well on the Dream catchers - you can finish it, I know you can! Hmm, concentrating on one thing might be a good way to make significant progress on my unending UFO. lol

Great progress good luck with dinosaurs! I might do the sal depending on the haed sal which we find out the details on 7/1. But I'm always a one at a time stitcher lol. Once I finish paradise though that will change :). We've been around 105 here which isn't a lot but it is for us :)

This dreamcatcher project progresses super fast, your needles must be smoking, Faith. It won't take lo g and it will be done.
Justine's idea is so gorgeous although I'm not a one project only stitcher at all. But pulling out a WIP that is near completion would be the perfect project for such a month for me. July isn't possible for me as I won't have a lot of stitching time but I hope that Justine will repeat her SAL during another month.

So glad you're joining me Faith - you'll be surprised I think just how much quicker your stitching progresses when you're working on just one project! I love Dinosaurs and can't wait to see it again.
Now you have 5 days left to finish Dreamcatchers!
