My Sunday Stitchy Update

Hello Friends!

This week I managed to get in some stitching on my Dinosaurs! piece.  It is nice to see some progress on this piece and I am glad I picked it as my piece for Justine's Just One July SAL.

Dinosaurs!
Artist - Stephen Michael Gardner
Progress as of 07/24/16

I was reading Evalina's blog, THIS AND THAT... the other day and she mentioned that she was going to participate in the "1 hour a day project" that she read about over on Meredithe's blog, pomegranate and chintz. So I went over to check it out and I thought surely I can devote an hour to my crafts a day for 2 weeks, right?  Well some days it is not that easy but I did manage to squeeze in some time here and there and made some progress daily! I have completed 5 days so far and here is my daily progress.

Do you think you could do it?
I don't know if I can do it every single day
but I am so very willing to try!

Now for some wonderful news! My daughter has purchased a home here in Arizona! We will need to start packing soon and moving things to the new place. I am so excited I can't wait to get all settled in our new home! Then I hope we don't ever have to move again!

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Dinosaurs is progressing beautifully - you're making good use of JOJ!

Congratulations on the new home! Packing can be a pain, but setting yourself up in a "new to you" space is very fulfilling.

Moving is no fun but the getting there is awesome. Congratulations on your new home. Love your progress on your dinosaur. I'm doing JOJ, too, but I don't usually have a whole hour a day to stitch, so that SAL is not for me. Good luck and keep going!

Your progress looks amazing when you see the change each day! Great job. I usually stitch at least an hour every day but it's been too hot in the UK to do much the last few days. Sounds like a great challenge though and it's obviously inspired you!

I think you are progressing wonderfully on your Dinosaur. One hour a day is a perfect thing to dedicate yourself too. I try to stitch for two hours each day. And I am pretty good for about 5 out of 7 days

Good luck on the hour a day SAL. I don't think I could do it, as it takes me an hour to set up. LOL! Dinosaurs is looking great, and so far it seems to be working on the 1 hour a day for you.
