March WIPocalypse Update

It is WIPocalypse time once again!

What is that you ask? Well...

WIPocalypse is a time for stitchers to show a monthly recap of their stitching achievements along with a chance to get to know one another a little better by answering a different question every month.

You can join in the fun or just see what the other
participants have stitched up by clicking the icon above.

For my rotation I stitch a piece for a week then it goes in the back of the box. The next piece I stitch is whatever had made its way up to the beginning of the line! This month I stitched on the following pieces.

First up was a new start!
Scary Night Halloween
Stoney Creek
Progress as of 03/04/18

Then I stitched this next section,
Christmas Rules
 Designer - Lizzie*Kate
where I started

and where I ended on 03/11/18

Next piece up was this oldie,
Full Bloom
Designer - Cross-Stitch-Art
this was my starting point

and my progress as of 03/18/18

Then a piece my grandson has been asking about!
Designer - Flumpkins X Stitchers
 where I started

Progress as of 03/25/18

None were finishes and they are all in the WIP Box to be seen again someday!

This month's question is...

What newer designers and product creators (fabric or floss dyeing, etc) out there have you discovered and recommend?

Well I have a thing for bunnies and Eeyores; must be something with the floppy ears on both? I don't know but I collect both ;)  Anyways I saw this Zombie Bunny on FaceBook (I think for the IHSW) and right away I knew I needed it even though I am not into zombies or gruesome stitching!! I did a Google image search which led me to Etsy (of course) and the chart!

The Etsy shop is Spot Your Colors and this is Zombie Bunny
Fair warning before you click on the link above... there are charts with cussing and insults!

Another designer I have recently discovered is Armada Designs. Again I saw someone else stitching something on FaceBook (I am beginning to think I should stay off FB!) and I decided I had to have it! LOL  There is no picture available for the Nintendo Stitch Along's finished piece but from what I saw I needed it! LOL  I am starting it today so maybe you will see something on it next month but most likely it will only be the borders for each game because I want to get the placement right!

Thanks for stopping by,
see ya next month!

Faith, You accomplished so much this month!! The Halloween piece is a fun one and Jacob must be thrilled that your working on the Dinosaur again. The more I see the LK Christmas rule, the more I want it!! I've been sick with a cold in bed so I have had no energy, so I decided to try floss tube. I got a kick out of Priscilla and Chelsea...:)

That was a very successful month, Faith. You really made a dent in all these pieces.
Isn't it incredible to see all the new designers mainly on etsy?
