Sunday's Stitchy Update...

I did not get to the next piece in my rotation but instead I have not one but TWO finishes! :)

First finish was My Big Toe's Normal Family.

It was a quick fun stitch!

The next finish was

Stoney Creek's Prayers Go Up 

This was a kit and I love the way they

made the hanger out of beads and floss!

I am still not going back to my rotation this week as I am going to skip ahead to my Dinosaur piece; they have been roaring my name pretty loudly so I am taking it as a sign to work on them.

Sunday's Stitchy Update...

This week it seems as though I never had time to sit down and stitch...something else was getting in the way like life!

I did manage to get two pieces finished and ready for Jacob's birthday next week. 

I put a hanger on the dog ornament pillow

and I managed to get his penguin on a hanger too,

not how I originally envisioned it but...

it is finished and that is the important part!

Yesterday I started a new piece

My Big Toe's Normal Family

I painted the fabric myself with Tulip Spray Paint. This is my first attempt at something like this and I like the way it turned out.  Learned a couple of dos and don'ts along the way but I will definitely do this again!
