My Sunday Stitchy Update 10/31/21

Hi everyone. I hope that you had a great week as we close out October.  Christmas will be here before you know it! I usually have some shopping finished by now but this has been a weird year for me and I am just getting started now. 

About my Halloween piece, well I really tried to finish it but I just didn't make it. I was close and just have some backstitch to finish but I guess tomorrow is another day!

My Sunday Stitchy Update 10/24/21

Good Evening Friends! 

I hope you are all doing ok. Autumn is now is full swing and the temperatures are starting to drop as we are not having days over 100℃ anymore. Pretty soon we will have to flip that switch and turn on the heat over night! 

This week I continued stitching my latest Halloween piece.

This is another chart that did not include back stitch but again I think it looks so much better with it so I decided to add it in.  At this point it is about half finished so hopefully it will be done by next week.

Coming up next up is NOVEMBER and Rachel has something up her sleeve! Last year she hosted Naughty November and she has decided to run it again! It consists of one new start during each of the four weekends during the month. I believe the start days are pretty flexible so I will begin my pieces on each of the first four Mondays of the month and will post during the following weekend. You can read about it at the end of this post.  I do hope you have the time and enough new pieces (LOL) to join in.

This week I have been stitching away on The Spooky Tree and it is very close to a finish!! I just have to finish the back stitching and the tree is a wrap!

Evening all! 

This week I have been working on my Spooky Tree but I have been very diligent in procrastinating just a little bit more. I guess some weeks are just like that. 

I still managed to make some progress on my piece though.

We decided that I couldn't just back stitch the white because it
was looking weird so I ended up backstitching almost everything.

Hopefully this week will be more stitches than day dreaming! 😉

Well summer has officially left and autumn has entered the picture.  Our weather has cooled off just a little but we are still hotter than most places because we are in the high 80s which is around 27 C and we are still getting some rainy days. 

This week I am still working on my Halloween piece. It is a fun stitch!

Evening Everyone!

Well . . . I finally did it! The Christmas Characters are all stitched up, finally! YAY Now to put them in the "To Sew" pile for another day because I am kind of tired of looking at them right now.
