June Turtle Trot

Today is Turtle Trot day!

Well this was me this month... I did not get any stitching in on my WIPs since the last Turtle Trot. I felt like I just buried my head in the sand and worked on other things instead of what I planned on but I have had some crazy days so I guess I just did not feel like stitching on them; but there is always next month!

Today is Turtle Trot day!

I am happy to report that I have

accomplished lots of stitching since the last one.

This one is Easter Eggs and it was started in 2012

and I am glad to be able to say it is finally FINISHED

Next is The Wizard of Oz

and of course Dinosaurs!

and a new start this week is

Darth Vader

April Turtle Trot

Today is the 10th and that means it is Turtle Trot day!

My turtle this month is one that my grandson fell in love with when we went to reptile fest a few years ago.  He has since gotten his own turtle; Leonardo named after the blue Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

I worked on two WIPs since the last

Turtle Trot check in

The first is Easter Eggs

This one had been in the WIP pile since

July 2012

The next one I worked on is

Dinosaurs

It is my "MAIN" piece

and it is now back in my

rotation every other week!

I also had a new start

**Recently I have noticed I am having a blogger problem! I am not getting notifications on all comments made to my blog and don't see them until I go to post something. I "normally" answer ALL COMMENTS with at least a thank you so if I have not emailed you; please do not take it personally. February Turtle Trot

Today is the day for the Turtle Trot report!

I worked on quite a few things since the last check in.  I finished the penguin and cupcake on Smoosh aka Twirl and I need to chart out the words I want on the piece. I also had four new starts since the last check in AND I finished three of those (yay) and am trying to finish off the fourth one this week. Then I can FINALLY get back to Dinosaurs!

January Turtle Trot

I have never participated in the Turtle Trot before but decided that I needed some encouragement to get my UFOs and WIPs finished and this seemed like a great opportunity to accomplish that goal!

So I have gathered up some of my UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and WIPs (Works In Progress) which I would like to finish up or at least get some stitching done on this year and joined in!

My Turtle Trot pieces are listed on this page.  When I finish one thing I MIGHT look around in all my stash to see if I have another to take it's place or I will just add in any new starts I HAVE to do!
