Puzzling July 2022

I see I have been been slacking a bit in posting puzzles but I have also been slacking in putting them together! I guess it all evens out that way? LOL The bookcase I 'organize' them in is OUT of space so I figured it was time to get busy!!

This first one is one that Jacob picked up when he went to thrifting one day. He asked me to put it together for him so of course being the good Gramm I am I stopped everything else do it for him. This puzzle was circa 1988 and had two pieces missing but he still wanted to hang it on his wall for a while.

The California Raisins
American Publishing
Piece Count - 500 / Size 18 x 24
Preowned Puzzle
First Piece 06/05/22
Last Piece 06/10/22

Next up is a puzzle I received from Matt (my DS) and I love it. I collect porcelain, stuffed and who knows what other kinds of Bunnies and Eeyores so this fit right in my "I love it list"!  Unfortunately it is one of those off brand puzzles with no names on the box, just pictures so I don't know who made it or anything like that.

Rabbit
Piece Count -1,000 / Size 27 x 20
New Puzzle
First Piece 06/18/22
Last Piece 06/25/22

The next puzzle came off my wish list and was probably gifted to me from one of my children. I have a bunch of these puzzles that look like the shops occupy the same building and I enjoy putting them together.

The Toy Shoppe
Artist - Garry Walton
Masterpieces
Piece Count - 750 / Size 18 x 24
New Puzzle
First Piece 07/08/22
Last Piece 07/14/22

I have two more puzzles on my table; one has been there for quite some time and another I just opened this morning and started looking for the edge pieces. I really NEED to get the first one off the table but it doesn't really call to me so I do a few pieces and then move onto something else. Maybe I can work on it after I finish the puzzle I just opened, we will see.

Puzzling April 2021

This month I feel like I didn't puzzle to much but I did have a finish!

This first one up had me thinking back to my childhood days though it seems that most of these products are still in existence today!

Mom's Pantry
Flashbacks

Piece Count - 1,000 / Size 19 x 27
First Piece 04/11/21
Last Piece 04/18/21

Do you remember any of the items in this puzzle?

I started working on this puzzle before I did the one above but it is kinda frustrating so that is why I did the other one. Now I started working in his one again but I have a feeling I will start another soon. This one will just continue to be on the table and I will do a few pieces every now and then. I think the colors are just to dark and similar which is why it is frustrating!!

I guess it may become a Puzzling UFO!

Piece Count - 1,000 / Size 36 x 47
First Piece 03/25/21
Last Piece Nobody Knows

Hoping to have more put together on this puzzle next month!

Puzzling September 2020

It is time to show the puzzles I did in September and I managed to get in three puzzles this month!

and this is the solution
Piece Count - 1,000 / Size 23 x 29

Then I worked on this one. I really like how the water looks in this puzzle.

Reflections

Last Piece 09/16/20

And the last puzzle for the month...

Now to see what puzzles interest me next month. It is sort of like picking out my next cross stitch project. Do I want to do it? Will it interest me until it is finished? Oh no... look here is another. There are so many decisions choosing things to start.

Puzzling June 2020

I have two puzzles for this month!

First up is one that is sure to satisfy any person's sweet tooth!

Tootsie Roll
Piece Count - 1,000
missing 2 piece
Size 27 x 19
Preowned Puzzle
First Piece 05/28/20
Last Piece 06/05/20

And then after that I did a puzzle that is sure to give some people a headache!

Samurai Sudoku Jigsaw
Double Challenge Puzzle

Piece Count - 500
Size 24 x 18
New Puzzle
First Piece 06/10/20
Last Piece 06/14/20

This is called a double challenge puzzle because they put a poster size piece of paper in the box so you can fill it in and get the solution before you put the puzzle together.  So I was getting ready to fill out the paper puzzle and Tia says why don't you make it more of a challenge and put it together with out the solution. Ok; challenge accepted! I did it!! It really did not turn out to be very hard but it was enjoyable all the same.

Puzzling April 2020

These are the puzzles I completed since my last Puzzle Post in March.

The first one up is like a double puzzle! First you have to solve it as a crossword puzzle and next as a jigsaw puzzle. It was a fun puzzle and not very hard at all.

Crossword Jigsaw 2017
Piece Count - 550
Size 24 x 18
New Puzzle
First Piece 03/25/20
Last Piece 03/31/20

Next I did this fun puzzle. It looks like the dog is actually reading the sign on the door. Now if he just understood what it said!

Wet Paint
SunsOut, Inc
Piece Count - 1,000
Size 26 x 26
New Puzzle
First Piece 04/03/20
Last Piece 04/21/20

And one more for the month just squeaked in.

Toyland
Flashback Puzzle
Masterpieces
Piece Count - 1,000
Size 19 x 27
New Puzzle
First Piece 04/22/20
Last Piece 04/28/20

This was another fun puzzle. I didn't recognize most of these toys but those Rock'em Sock'em Robots were always fun to play with so you could "Knock somebody's block off!" when you were mad at your brother or sister.

Thanks for stopping by,
hope to see you with some
more puzzles soon!
