Family Fun

We visited The Field Museum in Chicago on Saturday and had tons of fun! We went to see The Extreme Mammal exhibit which was excellent!  Sadly though no pictures are allowed in that exhibit, but here are some from the rest of our visit!

Family Fun

Last week was a busy week...

First off I got a haircut - and if you know me personally you know that is a majorly traumatic event in my life.  I thought about going a bit shorter but both my daughter and the stylist suggested I cut it in baby steps.  Still thinking of going a bit shorter - will think about it over the next couple of weeks.

Jacob had his first day of summer vacation!  He is officially a FIRST GRADER now!  He did a great job this year and we are all so very proud of him ;)

Then my friend Mary and I got to be in the studio audience of a local talk show called Windy City Live.    We had a great time and I could not believe all the people it took to put on a one hour live show! Below are some of the hosts from the show.

Then Saturday took us to the Oak Lawn Children's Museum for a Family Fun Day!

It was our first visit there

and Jacob had a blast!
