Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hello Everyone!  We are still having cold and snowy weather here in Chicago. The weathermen said that it was our third snowiest winter on record...geez - thanks! A record I think we could have done without. So I have been staying in the house and have been busy stitching away and have a finish to show you!

and started the next one Thursday

it is kinda slow going - stitching on 18 count

with LOTS of quarter stitches - YUCK

I still hope to have it finished in the

next day or two, so that makes one teacher

gift complete, one half finished and two to go!

Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hello everyone - so glad to see so many new followers!
I want to take a moment to say WELCOME - glad to see you here and I do hope you enjoy your stay :)

This has been another crazy temperature week here in the Chicago area!  Every day brings some new weather dilemma - it is either bitter cold with temperatures barely reaching 0 or else tons of falling and drifting snow.  I think that winter has MORE than overstayed it's welcome and I am so very ready for it to be SPRING!! Next Sunday will be Groundhog Day and I do hope that Punxsutawney Phil has some good news for us.

As for stitching this week I continued to work on

Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a productive and stitchy weekend!

I did manage to get in quite a bit of stitching this weekend for IHSW. I have been stitching a piece called Sports Balls which is a freebie by Cheryl Van Wormer and available on CyberStitchers.com. 

This is going to be for "Coach P" at my

grandson's school for an end of the year gift.

It is actually a pretty easy stitch

but oh...so much ORANGE! lol
