My Sunday Stitchy Update

Hello...

I hope that where ever you live you are not affected by the cold front and/or snow! I am enjoying the sunshine and our warmer temps.  Moving to Arizona was the best move I ever made; in my opinion!

This week I have been busy stitching my fingers off.  Of course I think it is way easier to stitch on plastic canvas - it seems so quick!  I have two new finishes for the week and three small new starts; all Christmas ornaments.

I designed these little ornaments using my PCStitch program and one of the alphabets they provide. They are super quick to stitch up and SHOULD be done tomorrow. Then I will decide if I want to stitch another ornament or not!

My Sunday Stitchy Update

Hello Stitchers!

Hope that you had a wonderful week and you were able to get in some craft time for yourself! This week I worked on a couple of different pieces.

First up is the

Then I worked on Smoosh! I had the penguin and the cupcake done about two years ago but never got around to adding the words that I charted out. My grandson requested this piece based on this commercial that comes on during the Christmas season from Pier One Imports.

Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a wonderful week!  If you are experiencing CRAZY weather like most of here in the states I do pray that you are safe.  This week in Chicago we had a 50 degree change in the weather. We went from 15 degrees BELOW ZERO before the windchill factor and a foot of snow to 35 degrees Saturday and rain!  Now they say we are returning to normal - today was in the 40s and by the weekend we will be back in the teens...NORMAL they say.  Ha ha - the countdown to spring continues!

This week I have been doing more sitting

around and/or sleeping than stitching...

but I did get some work in on

but I am making it for Jacob

and we are going to call it Smoosh

because of this Pier One commercial

He is a lover of all things penguin

and just loved this commercial!
