My Sunday Stitchy Update

Welcome to all my new followers - glad to see you here and I hope you enjoy your stay!

This week I worked on my Stained Glass piece. I finally finished page 1 and got a tiny start in on page 2 and what do you know - page 3 will be out in a couple of days! Hopefully one of these days I will get caught up but in the meantime I am just enjoying it.

Just a quick post - there was not much stitching here this week, it has been hot and/or rainy which doesn't make for a good mood or desire to do much but I did get in a little bit on Dinosaurs!

My Sunday Stitchy Update

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great week!

We finally had a pretty decent weather day today and after church Jacob even got to play outside for a while, he was so happy!  But now back to the real world; the temps are going to fall and they are predicting flurries for later in the week.  This is one of those times I hope the weather man is WRONG (again)!

Well this week was Dinosaur week!

This is my progress as of 03/30/14

I didn't get in too many stitches but I did get in some. I would LOVE to finish up this section by the end of April, seems like it is taking so darn long.

How is your jar coming along? Is it filled up yet? I love seeing the mix of colors when I look into the jar.

Not sure what I will be working on tomorrow. I will let the Random Number Generator figure it out for me when I get ready to stitch tomorrow.  I have all my WIPs and pieces I want to stitch soon listed in a spreadsheet and whatever number comes up - that will be the one I pick to work on.

Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hello everyone - We are still in the mighty grip of WINTER. Just when you finally think the snow is finished, no...it comes back again.  We had a couple of inches out there this morning and the temperatures are bitter cold once again. We are supposed to have more snow this week and it is supposed to be freezing everyday. I am anxiously waiting for warmer days and in my opinion they can't get here fast enough.

2014 Stitchy Plans!

I love when the new year comes - everything seems to have a clean slate and a new beginning!

I have quit making resolutions except for one and that is to be the best person I can be!

On the stitchy front though I have made a LONG OVERLY AMBITIOUS list of things I “want” to stitch. I am pretty sure I won't get to all of them but I am determined to try my very best!

I am also planning on participating in a bunch of monthly stitchy group blog SALs that I hope will help me focus on my stitching and blogging.

In 2014 I will continue on with the TUSAL, IHSW, YOTA and the new version of the WIPocalypse.  Every month Measi has listed different themes for us to write about so we can all get to know the stitchers we follow a little better and I am looking forward to this twist!  This year I also plan on starting with the Turtle Trot which encourages stitchers to work on their current UFOs and WIPs. Then there is one more and I am truly excited about this one because we are being encouraged to stitch from the stash pile that we already have in our house! It is called Stitch from Stash and I hope that this one will seriously help me make a dent in my stash pile while saving me a few dollars.

Sunday Stitching Update...

...another one that is a day late ~ sorry about that but it has been a marvelous week full of fun, food, surprises and great family time! Both my daughter and grandson had off for the entire week and don't go back to school and work until after the new years!

I did stitch on Dinosaurs during the

 IHSW and here is how it looks today.

I will get a better picture of it next time I do an update.

Also I cleaned out my TUSAL jar and

now have a new ORTament for my tree.

Sunday's Stitchy Update...

Hi all!  Hope everyone has been stitching away...

I have been stitching a little but I am seriously out of my Dinosaur rotation right now; just don't feel like looking at all that BLUE right now so I am taking a little break and hope to be back at it soon!

First up - I received this little freebie from

Virginia Sanders-Knutson on her FaceBook page.

She is the owner of Vee and Co Cross Stitch.

This is called To Do List.

I already had the fabric laying around

that I bought from Dove Stitch last year.

I also "was" caught up on Mary's Sampler

from Plum Street Samplers.

A new part came out today and I

think I may stitch it up tomorrow.

Also last week I picked up one of my

long forgotten WIPs and stitched some of it.

This is Bathtime Rules from Janlynn.

It is so colorful and I am enjoying it so

I think I will keep it out for a while longer.

Last but not least...it is TUSAL time!!

October ORTS and YOTA

Wow - I can't hardly believe it is October already... The year seems to be flying by though (thankfully) we are still having lots of days with summer temperatures.  I am NOT complaining though - SUMMER is my time of the year and I LOVE the HOT weather!

So now for the important stuff - the updates!

The temps are still HOT though I am sure the Autumn weather will be here soon enough.  I for one am not looking forward to it.
