Well I finally pulled out the sewing machine
again yesterday and look what I made...
used four of the fat quarters to cut the squares
attached batting to the back after I sewed the strips
together then I sewed diagonally both ways thru all
the squares to give it a "quilted" look and
also to make the batting more secure
used the 5th fat quarter for the side panels
they are 8 x 10 each
made a little band to go around the bottom
I felt it gave it a more "finished" look
