My Sunday Stitchy Update 07/21/19

Well here go, we have another week with TWO finishes!

They are small but every finish counts. This week I decided that I would start my Christmas ornaments for the year. YES you heard me right, I decided that I should do them during "Christmas in July" instead of trying to jam it all in during the last two weeks of December again! LOL

Every year the members of my family that I stitch ornaments for get the same theme. First up is my niece Abby and she gets reindeers or Rudolph.

I guess I should look and see if I have some more of that same fabric to finish it with. Then I stitched up Jacob's penguin ornament for the year.

So that is two down and two to go, maybe three. I am thinking of stitching one up for Jacob's BFF. Wonder if I can find out her favorite theme without letting her know why or maybe I should just "assign" her something. Decisions, decisions...

Well the race to beat the clock was on this week! I accomplished "enough" but not all I wanted to do though I am sure my family will be happy with what I did accomplish!

It is in the mail and on its way to her! I was texting with her the other day and she showed me their tree with all the ornaments I have made her on it. It is nice to see they are appreciated!

I was also working on one of the two penguins for Jacob's ornament. Doing the second penguin will depend on how much time I have left after everything else. 

So anyways... here is where I was last week:

This week I have been diligently working on my Christmas ornaments!

I started the week working on Jacob's ornament. He gets penguins each year.

I got thru half with one of the penguins on his ornament and decided I should be working on the one that needs to go in the mail! So I put his to the side and started one for Abby. Each year she gets a reindeer or a moose.

This one is in this years Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornament magazine. There is another ornament that goes with this one and I will probably do that one for next year.

Sunday's Stitchy Update...

Hi everyone and welcome to my new followers!!

Hope you had a wonderful week ;)

This week I had a small finish and I worked a bit on Dinosaurs.

I finished stitching the Black Kitty
for Gracie's quilt and here it is

it will be amazing and a great comfort to Gracie!

Then I worked  a little bit on Dinosaurs.

I am STILL on page 3 but 

I will this finished ONE DAY

We also had a small crisis at our house this week...

Waddles was MISSING!

These posters were put up all over the house.
Thankfully someone spotted Waddles and
reported his whereabouts to Jacob.

All is now right with our home!

Sunday's Stitchy Update...

Hello everyone!

Hope you have been having a great week... I had a pretty decent week but BUSY.

I started a new piece this week!  It is a black kitty for Christine who is a friend of mine.  She plans on making a quilt for her granddaughter and I was honored to be asked to participate.  I had the privilege of meeting Christine quite a few years ago at a stitching weekend we attended in Kentucky.  We were friends before that but I think we are even better friends now ;)
