My Sunday Stitchy Update 12/17/17

YAY, I finished the crazy moose and he is in the mail on the way to his new owner!

I think the snake turned garland turned out pretty good and I am quite pleased with it.

Last Stitch 12/15/17

I have started another ornament on plastic canvas but it doesn't look like anything now except an unconnected circle so I hope to show it next week. Hopefully (do I dare say) it will even be a finish!

A couple of days ago it dawned on me that Christmas is right around the corner.  Next year I really must plan these ornaments better! ha ha ha  I am sure we ALL say that and next year we will be right back to scrambling in the days before the big day!

I am one of those procrastinators so I know I will be in the same situation again next year! LOL

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

My Sunday Stitchy Update 12/12/17

Well I guess my Sunday update is pretty late this week, here it is Tuesday already!

Last week if you recall I had started working on the last ornament in the 12 Days of Christmas series, but I needed to stop to get my family's annual ornaments for the tree started and finished!

I started with this one because it has to go out in the mail.

Progress as of 12/12/17

Funny thing about this ornament.  I just "glanced" at the pattern and was thinking it was a Reindeer, ha ha it's not! My daughter pointed out that it is a MOOSE! So I said that's ok, it is a cute moose and went on.  Then while stitching his antlers, I noticed that is a snake on his head and NOT garland like I thought. Oh WOW, now what should I do?!?! So I cut a few stitches off of the snake to make it look more like garland. I hope I was successful because I was over halfway finished at that point. LOL  That will teach me to read EVERYTHING next time I get ready to stitch a pattern; after all this was called "Moose with a snake" (I renamed it) which would have solved ALL my stitching problems up front if I would have just paid attention.
