Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hi everyone!

Hoping you had a great week and a great IHSW weekend!

I really wanted to finish the Positive Thoughts piece this weekend but it didn't happen though I did get in lots of stitches but unfortunately half of them were "do-overs". On Saturday, I had more trouble with the little cottage than I could have EVER imagined! Then on Sunday - came computer problems...ugh - it is ALWAYS something.  First Outlook wouldn't work, my daughter and I worked on that for a while and FINALLY got it going again; then the internet wouldn't work on the computer, got it working then my virus software went crazy...all and all it has been a CRAZY weekend - hoping that is all past me know and things are moving in the right direction now and so I will try again tomorrow and pray for better luck with it.

Sundays Stitchy Update...

HELLO EVERYONE! I wanted to say welcome to my new followers and I hope that you enjoy your stay here!

I hope that you have been having a great week. This week we have still been having cold temperatures but it has warmed and we made it to the 20s...whohoooo and we are expected to reach the mid 40s by the end of the week.  Now all the giant mountains of snow will melt and start flooding all the streets but hopefully not our crawl space. I am pretty happy though because that means SPRING is coming; seems as though we have had a long rough winter and I will be overjoyed to get it behind us.

Sundays Stitchy Update...

Hello everyone!

Hope you are having a great week - despite the crazy weather.  If anyone has tooo much hot weather I would be MORE than happy to take it off your hands.  I think that we are now in 3rd place for snowiest "winter" on record in the Chicago area - we are closing in at 60 inches (with more expected later this week) and that is more snow than I EVER wanted to see so BRING ON SPRING!

Anyways...I managed to get in lots of stitching while staying in the nice warm house and I have 2 finishes for the week!

Sunday's Stitchy Update...

Just a quick post this week as I have

not been doing lots of stitching 

though I did manage to finish my

After I finished this I started going thru my millions

(as least that is how it seems) of charts in my stash

in an ATTEMPT to weed some out. It is VERY time

consuming as I look at EACH chart and think...

if I was buying a chart today; would I buy this?

Oh decisions...decisions...decisions.

Next week I think I will work on

Lizzie*Kate's ABCs of Aging Artfully

while going thru my old charts.

Hello everyone...

I hope you had a wonderful week and that all

the Moms in the States had a fantastic Mother's Day!

This week I started stitching a

new piece from DeeBee's Designs

I won a Custom Made Name Banner from Debbie during the Online Needlework Show and I picked our last name NICHOLS for the banner.  I asked for the colors of purple and blues and she threw in a bit of green too and it looks awesome.
