My Sunday Stitchy Update 06/03/18

Hello friends!

Last week I was working on Christmas Rules and decided to go ahead and stitch up the next rule.

Christmas Rules
Keep Schedule Light
Rule Seven
Designer - Lizzie*Kate
Progress as of 05/28/18

Since I was in the Christmas spirit I decided to work on this piece next. I plan on making this into a small decorative pillow for the holiday.

Christmas Penguin
Designer - Gill Cooper
Progress as of 06/03/18

I am finished with the Penguin part and I just have to fill in all the snow. And oh there is sooooo much snow! It has to extend all the way over on the left under my q-snap cover. The snow is in tent (aka half stitch) and I thought it would be faster but oh no, that is not the case! I have never worked with this stitch over such a large area before and I must say I am not really enjoying it all that much.

Well back to the stitching...

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Christmas Rules looks great Faith. I love your penquin. Nobody received email notices from anybody when they comment.

They're both looking good; the penguin's scarf is super-cute! Shame you're not enjoying the half-stitching though; it does look very effective and more subtle than full crosses. What about adding some blending filament here and there to add a bit sparkle to the mass expanse of snow? :)

Both pieces look great, Faith and you made some nice progress.I love the little Penguin. But I don't love stitching half stitches, I don't know why, lol.

The little penguin is very cute.

Funny I've been in a Christmas mood too. Maybe it's because of how HOT it has been here. I'm wishing for snow. Love your pieces. The penguin is just too cute.

Urgh I totally dislike stitching white on white too. But it has to be done. I like rule #7. I tend to overcrowd my day and then get disappointed when it all doesn't get done. So I'm going to take that one. Hah ha.

Your Christmas stitching is amazing, love both of them
