It has been a few weeks...so I thought I should touch base here ;)
I had a nice surprise when I came home from church today! :) Lorretta from Stitching the Night Away featured me in her Getting to Know the Stitching Community segment! YEAH... You can see the article here
The WEATHER is STILL terrible. Here it is mid April and we still have temps in the 40s! I certainly hope it starts to warm up soon... I am so tired of cold and so ready for sunshine, warm weather, green grass and flowers! Not to mention our family outings to the zoo and museums.
STITCHING has taken a bit of a back seat...I am still doing it when I can but it seems as though I have tendinitis in my arm and it just flairs up when and where ever it wants to. It is extremely painful and during the time I have it I can not even move my arm let alone hold my stitching or stitch. I have been considering getting a lap or floor stand so if you have any opinions on these stands ~ PLEASE feel free to share!
There is ALWAYS time for READING and I have been doing a lot of it... Since I posted last I have I listened some more books in the Alphabet Series...G is for Gumshoe, H is for Homicide, I is for Innocent. I also listened to Lisa Gardner's latest book in the D.D. Warren series; Love You More and Private Eyes by James Patterson in the Alex Delaware series.
I also read some books in the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child...I read books 10 and 12 which are The Hard Way and Nothing to Lose. Next on my list it Bad Luck and Trouble which is book 11. Also started reading A Stitch in Time which is book 3 in Monica Ferris' series and have started Unraveled Sleeve.
Only saw one MOVIE ~ Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story. Movie was very moving and inspiring...totally recommended!
Well that's about it for now... thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave me a comment ;)
