Sunday's Stitchy Update...

Here it is
time for the
Sunday Stitchy Update!

This week I had
two new starts and finishes!
=D

On Monday I started this name sampler
for a baby shower I'll be going to soon.
I charted the name out myself in PC Stitch and
used one of the borders that came with the program.
I finished this on Wednesday and started
Stitchworks Sam the Patriotic Penguin the next day.
Finished this one today and it will be a
birthday gift for Jacob.  He is Penguin Crazy :)
Now for the hard part...
I plan on making each of them into pillow ornaments which is something I have never done before!  I bought all the stuff that I *think* I need and am going to attempt to make them tomorrow!
Wish me luck.
Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching,
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Your Patriotic Penguin is wonderful. I just tried to find it and the site no longer has it. I also know someone who is Penguin crazy. Good luck on your pillow finish. I know you can do it. Just take it nice and slow.

That penguin is adorable! And what a nice baby sampler - you did a great job charting and stitching it. Personally, I love pillow finishes because I can rip out any seams I don't like and start over :)

Those are wonderful finishes Faith. The recipients are going to love them.

You can do the pillow finishing! Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Good luck with your pillows, Faith. Those are hard for me, too.

I love the name sampler you designed! It is beautiful. The penguin is darling.

I wish we lived closer, I could teach you the sewing part. :o)
