April Stitch From Stash

It is time for the monthly Stitch From Stash report!

I am still happy to let you know that we are four months into the challenge and I am still doing great!! Once again I have made no purchases except for the free pattern of the month chart from Stoney Creek which luckily does not count.

So then I was wondering...hmmmm I am "saving" this money by not buying stash each month but what am I doing with the money?  I wasn't seeing it in my bank account at the end of month so I had an IDEA!  I moved the $25 into my savings account and decided that I will save it for Christmas shopping.  That time of the year always sneaks up on me and since I have had a drastic change of income this will give me a great opportunity to save the money for something I will definitely need it for. So this challenge is going to serve two purposes for me.  YAY - a serious plus in my book.

So here is my report for:   April

Amount Spent:   $0

Year to date Amount Spent:   $0

Total Saved Based on this challenge:   $100

New Starts from Stash:   One new start for April

Wizard of Oz

July 2012 Cross Stitch Gold Magazine

WIPs worked on: I worked on two pieces from the WIP pile.

Easter Eggs

and of course
Dinosaurs

How are you doing with your stash spending?
Are you still within your budget??

I am pretty sure that I can make it through another month of no purchases, especially since I am moving the money out of my checking account where it is so tempting!  So please stop by at the end of May to see if I am still with in my budget and Stitching from my Stash

Wow good on you mate. I didn't even attempt to join in the SFS. I knew I would blow the entire years budget by January 5th. LOL

Congratulations Faith. I gave up on the challenge. Cute finish and lovely progress on your other pieces. Is it possible to show a pic of what the Wizard of Oz will look like when done.
