My Sunday Stitchy Update...

Not a lot of stitching done this week - as many of you in the US know this has been a CRAZY weather week from coast to coast. We had such bad storms that we were without electricity for 20 hours (according to my grandson it felt like 20 days!) and we were one of the first areas to get it back on.  Some of the surrounding communities are still out and tomorrow will be an entire week. I really feel bad for them but one thing to be grateful for is while many things got damaged I don't recall hearing of anyone's death as a result of the weather!

Then it was a holiday week for us too - Independence Day! I spent the day watching movies and then sitting in the backyard with the family. We played a bunch of board games outside and then ate dinner out there. It was a beautiful day and then we went back out in the evening and watched fireworks. All in all it was a very enjoyable day!

Now for the stitchy update - I got in a little work on

Wizard of Oz
Cross Stitch Gold Mag / July 2012
Designer - Lesley Teare
Progress as of 07/06/14

Now this piece is going away for a bit because the second page of the Stained Glass SAL came out and I want to work on it!

So...what have you been working on???  Let me know and I will stop by your place and take a peek!

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!
