November Stitch From Stash

Guess what time it is!

Time for the NOVEMBER
Stitch from Stash post.
This event is being hosted by
Mel from Epic Stitching

Well I must report once more that I spent some money BUT Mel once again so generously allowed us to buy anything from Bev over at Love Thy Thread and not have it count against our budget! Unfortunately Bev is going out of business on December 1st due to some health issues and there were a couple of chart I "needed" so...here they are

and the best part about it was I had a credit in my PayPal account so I didn't have to spend any cash money!  That made me feel even better about the whole purchase!!

Then I decided to start collecting the new Stoney Creek series
which is a purchase that is free except for
shipping which of course is exempt from our budget.

So now comes the stitching report...once again not to good for the month.  I am going thru some personal issues over here that prevent me from doing anything more than NOTHING most of the time.  I did manage to put in an x here and there but not as many as a I would have liked to do; but as we all know - EVERY X COUNTS!

So here is my report for:   November

Amount Spent:   $0

Year to date Amount Spent:   $0

Total Saved Based on this challenge:   $275

Bonus of $50:   Spent - $9 with $41 remaining for stock up purposes :)

New Starts from Stash:   No new starts for November

WIPs worked on:

Wizard of Oz
Designer Lesley Teare from the
July 2012 Cross Stitch Gold Magazine

Shades of Blue
Northern Expressions Needlework

Well Stitchers - here we are getting down to the end of the year and I think we can do it!!  One more month and you can just think of all the money you saved by joining the Stitch From Stash group.  I can't wait to see if I will spend my entire $41 balance or go over since I could use some threads and fabrics. I will have to shop carefully to stay within my budget and if this year has taught me anything - it is that I have learned to be more picky about my purchases.

Look forward to seeing how everyone else is doing!!

See you at the end of  December
for our end of the year SFS Report!

Good going Faith! I really don't know how you girls are managing to get through this year without overspending. I blew the budged on the 2nd January for the whole year. Congrats on saving $275. It's very sad about Bev, I hope her good health returns the poor petal.

Faith, you are amazing! You've managed to get a few things here and there by working within the bonuses and the free charts from Stoney Creek, but haven't spent on anything else. WOW! I'm proud of you!
