My Sunday Stitchy Update 01/22/17

Evening Friends!

This week I received a beautiful gift in the mail from one of my stitchy friends, Karen Vaillette.  She does not have a blog but if your belong to one of Brooke's Books Yahoo or Facebook groups I think you know who she is! She made me a beautiful pinkeep in my favorite color!

I was in shock when I opened it as it was very unexpected but I truly love it and will treasure it for many years to come!  THANK YOU KAREN!

Then I decided to keep out Shades of Blue and continue to work on it.

Progress as of 01/22/17

I am working on page 10 and a little of page 11.  There are only 12 pages, so there is hope that this one will be done SOON!

Earlier this week I was reading a newsletter from Loretta at Stitching the Night Away and she had listed 12 SALs that are happening this year.  Wouldn't you know it, one caught my eye! It is called Christmas Ornie SAL 2017. The idea is to stitch up an ornament a month and you will have 12 new ornaments for your tree!

They have two lists for monthly themes and you can choose either. I picked the 12 Days of Christmas theme and decided to do the one by Margaret Sherry.  I have had it in my stash for quite a while and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to stitch it up.

I started Day 1 today and here is my progress on it.

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Good luck on the 12 days ornie SAL. I hope you manage to keep up with it as that would be awesome to have those on your tree.

Great start on them

It doesn't surprise me Margaret Sherry's 12 days is the one you picked. I think it is perfect. I love Monthly SALS where you pick what you want to stitch. Thank you for sharing the links
