My Sunday Stitchy Update 10/07/18

This week I have a FFO to show!

I finished the stitching on the second square for a biscornu! YAY

then came the time for the assembly... eek...

First I had to sew up the sides and let me tell ya that was a frustrating experience in itself!

Then I had to stuff it!

It always amazes me how much stuffing it takes to fill something but it all got it in there! Another tricky part was the button! LOL I used the longest needle I had that fit thru the button hole and finally got the buttons attached!

And here is the FINISHED piece!
I love it and I may make another one or two someday in the future!

Now on to the next WIP!!

Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

How fantastic to see an FFO! It looks amazing and must be even more pleasing seeing as it's your own design. Are you tempted to start another one before finishing some more of your WIPs or are you going to be a good girl?! :)

Amazing! The shape of a biscournu always gives me the impression that they are tricky to sew up x

Absolutely beautiful! I haven't tried one of these yet, and the thing that intimidates me the most is sewing the two pieces together! I just need to try it!

It turned out so pretty, Faith! I still haven't made a biscornu, but having made many pillow ornaments, I know just what you mean about the amount of stuffing you have to use for a seemingly small piece :) Enjoy your weekend!
