My Sunday Stitchy Update 07/09/23

Hello everyone!  This week I haven't felt much like stitching so while I have still stitched everyday it really wasn't a lot. I think all the confetti stitching may have turned me off this week.  I guess sometimes these kind of weeks just happen but I hope to have a better week next week.

Anyways... I did manage to get some stitching in so here it is.

First up is the SAL!

The Blackwork Stitch Along
Designers - Rhona and Eirinn Norrie

Week 27
Progress 07/03/23

Technically it is finished since we have reached week 27. People were asking the designer for a border so there will be some borders available tomorrow and I am sure I will find one I like and will add it to the sampler.

Then it was time for the Dinosaurs and I have already told you about the dread I felt with it this week,

Dinosaurs
Progress 07/09/23

I hope his week in August will be better!

There is really nothing else happening here. We are just sitting here waiting for the rain that the weather people keep predicting that never seems to show up. So that is it for this week!

Well thank you for stopping by and
I hope to see you again next week!

Your blackwork sampler looks fantastic, Faith. Confetti stitching isn't much fun, but your dinosaur piece is looking good. Hope you receive some rain this week.

Love your blackwork SAL. I love the borders but I like mine just the way it is I think. I think it will look adorable as a decorative pillow. Sometimes those pieces with confetti just don't want to be stitched. Enjoy your new week.

I was going to ask if the Blackwork was finished, because it looks great! I hope you found a border you like.
You're so close to finishing his bottom jaw, I bet he's hungry!
We always seem to miss whatever rain is coming our way, or just get a tiny bit of it. You really need it there!

Your Blackwork SAL turned out great, Faith! I look forward to seeing which border you choose. Your dinosaur is really coming to life--hang in there with him! And I hope some rain reaches AZ very soon. Enjoy your day ♥
