My Sunday Stitchy Update 11/17/24

Afternoon Fellow Stitchers!  I hope everyone had a great week full of many stitches.

This week I had some stitches and while I kept up my stitching each day I didn't have a lot of stitches. SO anyways... let's jump right in and see what I did do.

First up this week was my ornaments! I finished the Elf last time and now I started the Bird which is the last one! I hope to get it finished soon so I can FFO them and get them in the mail.

Small Christmas Ornaments
Durene Jones

Only 91 stitched on 11/10/24.

Now for the first prompt of the week, Stitch on something with gems or gold. Well with this one has Gold in the title so it was a given.

Shades of Gold
Designer - Nicole Dostal

I added 109 stitches on 11/12.
It is hard to see where but they are in the border on the right.

The next prompt was Stitch on something that needs to be fixed up. Well the bookshelf is still missing a few shelves on the bottom so it definitely needs to be fixed up. Then I kept it put for the next prompt as well since it was to Stitch on something with a skull. On the October shelf there is a skull to be added so I outlined it so it could be seen.

Temperature Library
Kristi DiClemente

I stitched 211 stitches during the two day period.

After that I just felt like stitching on this one so I pulled it out of it's hiding place and added to it.

Winter 2024 SAL
Designer - Alyssa
I added 118 stitches to this one on the 14th.

The next prompt asked me to Stitch on something you’d find at a school. This was a tough one because I don't ever remember stitching anything to do with a school, so then I came up with this idea! There are often flowers at school. Every school dance has flowers given as gift for your date, or people give them just because and students also give them to their teachers.

I Stitch Sampler
Rhona Norrie
On the 15th I added 228 stitches.

Then an easy one finally! They wanted me to Stitch on my most wanted project! Well right now my Son is looking for this piece but it is gonna take forever and a day!

Nintendo
Contra

On the square I am stitching, Contra, I added 125 stitches on 11/16.
Actually when you look at this part it looks like a bunch of scrabbling.

Well thanks for making it to the end!

Keep in mind that Christmas is only about six weeks away so you should be getting those pieces finished unless you are one of those people who are finished already!  Every year I say I am going to be one of those who finishes everything early but I just never manage to get it accomplished! But I do manage to get them done in the nick of time.

I hope you have a wonderful week, take care
and I look forward to seeing what you are doing.

Hi Faith: I find it amazing that there are so many words used for stitchers to use to stitch like Gold and you have a design with the word Gold, love it.
I would not do well in a challenge like that I am a one at a time stitcher.
I am stitching Christmas, this year I will be finished before Christmas for once.
Have an amazing week.
