My Sunday Stitchy Update 06/01/25

Welcome! It looks as though today is going to be a quick post.

We have been having temperatures in the high 90s and are in serious need of RAIN! They keep saying it is coming but I don't see any. 😕 Nothing worth talking about has really been going on here, except some stitching!

We played a game during one of our stitching get-togethers and it was fun! Even more fun because I won! LOL We played the game called Stitch-opoly. It is a game based on Embroidery and Cross Stitching based on the ever-popular game of Monopoly. I don't think they make this game anymore based on the eBay prices but one of the ladies in our group got it locally for pretty cheap. Plus, since it was local there were no postage prices tacked on. So anyways, we had a fun time playing and I am sure we will play again and I am looking forward to it.

This week I stitched on the Mason Jar Lineup from Dimensions. I have not taken this out of the WIP Box since 2024 and before that it was 2022. So, I think it was time! LOL

Added 240 stitches to the mason jars

After I finished working on the jars, I pulled out the Penguin Ice Slide. I think that once I finish this, I will make it into a birthday card for Jacob and he can add the penguin to his collection.
I added 297 stitches to the ice.

And that is that on the stitching front!

I enjoyed only stitching on a few pieces. I felt that I was able to really get in some stitches for a change. So, I can feel another change coming on as to what to stitch. No more acrostics or lists; just
ENJOYMENT!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a wonderful week and
please stay well and safe and don't
forget to take some time for yourself!

Hello Faith,
your progress looks great. Both are wonderful motifs.
Stitchopoly sounds lucky. We have a Monopoly about Major League Baseball. We baught it in our USA holiday some years ago.
Have a nice Sunday Manuela

You made good progress on both of your projects, Faith. It looks like the penguin piece is closing in on a finish. While I know you enjoy the acrostics and lists, maybe taking a break from them for a bit will charge up your stitching enjoyment. Happy Sunday!

I love the jars they are stitching up so well. I have Star Wars Monopoly, and Dr. Who Monopoly but never heard of Stitch-opoly! That sounds like my kind of game :p Congratulations on winning it, stunner.
Happy Stitching

I'd gladly send you some of my rain if I could, Faith! May was just horrible here, but at least the grass is green :) That game looks so fun! I guess there really is a Monopoly game for almost every theme. Nice to see the growth on your projects--hope June is good to you! ♥
