My Sunday Stitchy Update 09/14/25

Hello All, I hope that you are having a good day.

Nothing exciting is happening around here except stitching, which can be exciting.

I spun the Tiny Decision Wheel and what came up for stitching at the Mall with my friends was the Temperature Library. I decided to stitch it at home instead of in our group and I added two feet of stitches, get it? ha ha There is also a book to the left of the feet which you can't really see. Now to decide; should I take it out and change that color for the chart or will the book outline be good enough to bring attention to it?  So many decisions...maybe I should use the wheel?!

Put in 133 stitched on this round.

After that I went back to the ornaments and started the Snowman AGAIN! This is it's last chance so I hope it works out. I decided to start in the center this time and see if that helps me. I don't want to jinx it but so far, so good!

Starting again with 331 stitches.

And another new start! Last night I couldn't sleep again and I was thinking about Jacob's birthday at the end of the month. With our family being from Chicago, the guys in this house cheer for the Chicago teams. One of the gifts we are getting him is a Chicago Blackhawks jersey and so today I decide to stitch him their logo to hang in his room. It is kind of plain, but he will like it. Now to finish it and frame it by the end of the month!

Chicago Blackhawks Logo
found all over Pinterest
52 stitches so far.

And that is it for stitching for the week!

Now, with the permission of her husband, I have a little sad news to share with you. Linda Scott, a blogger from a few years ago with the blog Stitchin with my Furbabies has passed away on September 8th, 2025. Her husband  did not provide any details but I just wanted you guys to know since she was a friend to many of us. Linda will be missed along with her Disney stitching.

Thank you so much for stopping by and
I hope you know how much I appreciate you and your comments.

Please stay safe and keep stitching and see you again soon!
💜   Love to you all!   💜

Well done on adding the two feet on your temperature chart, Faith! Will the books be backstitched? If yes, then I would leave the lighter color by the feet. The restart of the snowman is looking good. You are off to a good start on Jacob's piece. Have a great week stitching!

That is very sad to read about Linda, Faith... I remember her blog and her love of Disney designs. That snowman will be such a cutie as is your temperature library. Hope you're having lots of stitching time this week! ♥

Very nice, a few books have been added to your library. And two new releases, I'm excited.
Best, Martina

Loving your temp Book Shelf. I would leave the lighter coloured book as the back-stitching will bring it out. Good luck with your restart on Snowie. Hope he plays the game this time round.
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
Take care ok
