My Sunday Stitchy Update 09/21/25

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome... This has been some week. I wish it was a dream, but it wasn't.

I am going to start off with some bad news. 😢 I'll spare you all the details surrounding this and what else happened during this time. In the middle of the night Wednesday, I received the call I have been dreading. My little brother had left this world to go be with our Mom and the rest of the family there. I was terribly upset, as you might expect and literally cried or slept for two days. The blessing is knowing that he is now pain free and can finally rest.

I would like to THANK all of you that have taken time out of your busy life to say a prayer for Glenn and my family. They were truly appreciated.

Rest in peace little brother. I will love and miss you
always but don't worry, we will meet again.

So on the stitching front, I am STILL working on the Chicago Blackhawks logo. I made some good progress on it but I only have another week until my grandson's birthday. I would like to have it FFO'd by then, so I really need to concentrate on it this week. I need to fill in the feathers and then stitch the words, "Chicago Blackhawk" and it will be done. Wish me luck!

found all over the internet
I added 741 stitches for the week.

So that is it for the week! I hope I can get back to my Christmas ornaments soon, but for now I will be going am taking the Blackhawk with me!

Please stay safe and keep stitching!
💜💜💜
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Love to all and keep praying that someone will find a cure for cancer.

Oh Faith, I am so sorry to read about your brother's passing. May you find comfort and peace in your memories until you see him again in Heaven. Thinking of you.

You have made awesome progress on the Blackhawks' logo.

I am so very sorry to read about your younger brother, Faith. As the older sibling, I'm sure you never expected to be saying goodbye to him first. It must be heartbreaking to lose a sibling... May memories of happy times shared carry you through the sad times. I always comfort myself with the idea that the person who has died would still want me to carry on and enjoy life. Sending hugs and prayers your way. ♥

I'm truly sorry for your loss Faith. Cancer is such a horrible disease that robs us of our loved ones. The only peace the rest of us that are left behind is knowing the suffering is over. Bless you and your family.
The Blackhawks logo is looking great. Wishing you luck to finish before your grandson's birthday
