Well I missed posting last week but I didn't miss stitching! I have been working on the Santa ornament everyday even when it was only a few little stitches. So much going on around here and then my daughter, grandson and I all ended up getting some kind of virus that must be going around. Congestion headaches, sneezing and coughing with an achy body. I guess my son was luckier than us and knew how to dodge this virus!
As I mentioned above Santa had been my focus piece during this time and let me tell you, Santa is a big guy! His red coat and hat seems like it will take forever.
I added 894 stitches during this stitching session.
You have to look really hard at the second picture
to see the white stitches around his face area.

But if you notice, Santa is NOT looking like the picture that they posted with the chart. It was puzzling me when I was stitching it but I guess they changed something somewhere but forgot to update. The present (blue and white) belongs there, but there are a bunch of changes. I really liked his beard in the picture but I guess I'm destined to take the one on the chart. Hopefully, he will look more put together next time you see him and either way he gets stitched, we will all recognize Santa!!
So that's all I have for today so I am going to let you guys go back to your projects! Is anyone else doing any Christmas stitching? As of today (Sunday 11/22) we only have 31 days until Christmas Eve!! So fire up those needles and get them moving!! 😊

Have a great week everyone.
Please stay safe and away from that virus if it comes your way!
Hugs to all!!
