My Sunday Stitchy Update 03/01/26

Well, what a temperature change we had here; we were in the high 80s and low 90s this week! I think Tucson even set some records for high temperatures this past week. I enjoyed the heat very much!! I hope it wasn't just a sneak peek but I think it was.

Designer - Nicole Dostal

Last Sunday I spun the wheel and it landed on a piece I haven't stitched on for a long time, Shades of Gold. The last time I stitched on the piece was in April 2025!

I was very happy to pick it up again and once I figured out where I was I got right to stitching!

I put in 874 stitches this week.

And that is it for the stitchy part of my week.

I finally finished The Gunslinger by Stephen King. It took me a bit but I did it, I am going to try the second book in series soon. Right now I am listening to 107 Days by Kamala Harris. I haven't listened to much yet but I will get back to it this week. Then a stitcher in our group brought me a Mary Higgins Clark book (I forgot the title) that I will probably read next.

Thank you so much for being here. I caught up on a bunch of emails last week and am hoping to do the same again this week. One problem is I feel I get so much junk mail and I am trying to unsubscribe from a lot of it.  I guess it may be due to being election year here and all of a sudden I have lots of politicians who care about me or rather my vote! LOL

Well, I think I am going to skip spinning the wheel this week and stitch some more of The Shades of Gold.  See you around the web somewhere or back here next week.

Take care and stay safe!

Look at there... another quick and short post! I kind of like that.
