I did manage to get two pieces finished and ready for Jacob's birthday next week.
I put a hanger on the dog ornament pillow
and I managed to get his penguin on a hanger too,
not how I originally envisioned it but...
it is finished and that is the important part!
Yesterday I started a new piece
My Big Toe's Normal Family
I painted the fabric myself with Tulip Spray Paint. This is my first attempt at something like this and I like the way it turned out. Learned a couple of dos and don'ts along the way but I will definitely do this again!
Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching,
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Cute pieces! Great job!
Both finshes are adorable:)
Those are cute finishes. Good results for not having a lot of stitching time.
Hi, I've just discovered your blog. I love what you've done with the little dog cross stitch! It's so cute ☺
Lovely hangars... and Gorgeous start... I love the fabric colour :D
Hello
Just found your blog.
Lovely finishes and your hand-dyed fabric is gorgeous!
Hope you have a good week.
You are so brave to try something new with your Fabric. Looks great, well done
You're going to leave us hanging?? What are the do's and don'ts? lol
Your finishes are adorable. Who's the designer of the penguin?
They are so cute, I love the finishes.
I've used Tulip before, but only with t-shirts - was it difficult with the fabric?
Congratulations on your finishes Faith! The fabric you used for Normal Family looks beautiful with the floss you chose. Can't wait to see how you finish-finish it :)

Love the dog piece and I think your other piece looks just fine. I like what you did also with the Tulip Spray paint.
TFS.
