I hope you all had a wonderful holiday (whichever one you celebrate) and a spectacular week. I see that it is still cold and snowing in some places and I hope that spring finally arrives in your neighborhood soon!
On the stitchy front this week I had a new start! It is one I hope to surprise my son with someday in the future. It is another big stitch but it is broken down into small sections so it shouldn't seem toooo overwhelming! LOL
Nintendo SAL
Designer - Armada Designs
Progress as of 03/28/18
This controller is not part of the SAL, I found it on Pinterest and thought it would work perfectly with the other pieces (coming soon) in the header I am going to be using.
First Stitch 03/26/18
Progress as of 04/01/18
First I am just trying to get the placement right on the fabric so I am doing the game borders. The toughest part at this point is the counting! Luckily I won't have to count the border stitches much longer because once I have two more across the top and two more down all the rest will easily fall into place!
Sadly there is no finished picture of the piece available on her site. There are some on the FB page for this SAL of course being other people's work I can not post them here.
Now it is time for Nintendo to go back in the WIP Box and bring out the next piece. I think this week will be my monthly holiday stitches.
Thanks for taking a peek at my stitching
see ya next week with another faithful update!

Great start Faith. I bought the SAL last year and haven't even printed it out. Another thing I'm going to quit doing.

I love this one. Nintendo was something that took up so much of my childhood but I told myself I'm not allowed to stitch this one haha. I'll just enjoy watching yours instead. Love the controller you added. Perfect.
I look forward to seeing this one again Faith! It looks interesting.
Your new project looks interesting, Faith--something my son would love, too :) Have a great week!
That's a great theme for someone who loves these games. Very interesting.
I look forward to seeing this one progress. A great idea for your son! x
Great start, Faith! It will be fun to follow your progress!
Have a great weekend!
