My Sunday Stitchy Update 05/01/22

Happy May Day everyone!  I hope that you are off to a good start this month!

May is always a busy month for me so I am already looking forward to it being over! LOL

So this week the Wheel of Stitching landed on my blackwork piece. I don't know why I haven't finished this one but I guess that once I put them in the WIP Box something new catches my eye and I forget about the others!

This is how it looked when I took it out of the box on Monday

A Year of Blackwork
2020 SAL

and here it is today
Progress 05/01/22

I forgot how much concentration this piece takes! I stitched the second fill design on the bottom row three times before I got it right!  I will continue to stitch this one next week while I keep my eyes opened to try and avoid mistakes!

Have a wonderful week everyone and I hope to
see you next week with another faithful update!

I like May too, spring is coming more and more and soon it will be summer.
A lot has been added to your Blackworks sampler, very nice work.
Have a good week, Martina

I can imagine this piece really does take a lot of concentration, Faith! I always think (and hope!) that stitching might be good for our aging brains like they say crossword puzzles are :) Enjoy your week--hope it is not too, too busy! ♥
