I went to the page where you add a new post and clicked on the COMMENT selection to see if I could delete them all at once. I was amazed when I got there and started looking at the sender's names and email addresses and many looked familiar! There were well over a hundred!!
I had legit comments there going WAY back in time that I never knew existed. I don't know what they do with the comments marked "SPAM" and I didn't want any real bloggers to be caught up in what ever it is they do; if they do anything at all so I marked all of those approved and the rest I deleted with the SPAM option.
I wish they had a way to block certain users but I don't see anything on that at all.
Anyways... the point of this post is to say I am sorry for missing everyone's comments. I really wasn't ignoring you guys. I guess I will have to start checking that section to see what is there from now on.
Oh and you spammers, get a life so I can quit hitting the spam button!

While it isn't blog related, I have noticed an increase in spam in my inbox instead of landing in the spam folder. I guess they have figured out a work around to that. Happy Saturday, Faith!

That sometimes happens to me, even though ligitimate comments have been left before.
And yes, I would love to BLOCK those true spammers!
Yes, it's annoying with spam comments. If it's not a noreply address, I report everything as spam and delete anything unrelated to the blog from the comments.
The comment before mine from William Hartmann is also spam.
I hope it gradually decreases.
