My Sunday Stitchy Update 08/17/25

A new week, same charts, new Xs!

I am TRYING to make progress on the snowman ornament but there is soooo much WHITE! LOL  I get tired of looking at it! I think that this week I will need to finish stitching the Penguin for Jacob's birthday card! It is coming up in September, so I need to get busy.

This week I add 586 stitched to the snowman
and I think I have a million left!

This week I also continued with my Stephen King House. There are so many black stitches that I have to count and recount and sometimes count again to make sure I have the right number of stitches in the right spot. So anyways, this is what I am stitching at the mall this week.

I only put in 134 stitches in 2 days this week.
Guess we were talking to much again!

Do any of you read Stephen King books? What is your favorite genre of books? Me; I like true crime, mysteries and police procedure type books. I also enjoy some autobiographies, and a good sappy love story every now and then! Sounds like I will read most anything! When I was still working, I switched to audiobooks since I could listen to them while I did my work. I also find I can get more books in this way! If I remember to update Goodreads, then you can always see what I am reading at the top of the column on the right. If you are a member (it’s free) there request my friendship so I can see what you are reading!

Nothing else exciting happening here except we finally got rain, but I don't think it was enough. So, I hope we will get some more soon. Plus, I love a good rain. We are still dealing with the reason for the prayer request; we have appreciated all the prayers but please don't stop if you can see to it in your heart. THANK YOU

Stay safe and I hope to see you next Sunday.

The snowman and the house are each looking good, Faith. I read one Stephen King book, but I am not a fan. I enjoy reading women's fiction (romance and southern included), cozy mysteries, nonfiction, and some historical fiction. Have a good week!
