My October 2026 Stitchy Update

I hope you had a great October. On Halloween it rained most of the day here, unfortunately. The Trick or Treaters were still plentiful though which means, there was not a lot of left over Halloween candy. What there is, I will put it in a Ziploc bag and stick it in the freezer to help avoid temptation.

So I would like to share with you what I stitched in October. I ended September with

October's Starting Point and ending for the month

This finished off page 4, only 5 more to go!

After that I spun the Tiny Decisions wheel and it selected Nintendo for me. I stitched two sections on this piece. I am also showing you the entire piece and as you see, I have plenty more to go.

10 Games out of 24 stitched.

Since I seem to be on a roll of stitching LARGER pieces right now, I decided what's one more?!

October's Starting Point and  ending for the month

I can't believe I am ONLY on page 2 on this piece.

I think I have a problem with picking out
larger pieces and then they take forever to complete!

During October I listened to Stephen King's Drunken Fireworks I really was not very impressed with this book. It was definitely a SHORT story as it just took a couple of hours to read.

Then I reread a Stephen King's Doctor Sleep, which is The Shining part two. I really enjoyed this one and that is why I read it again and again and have also seen the movie a couple of times.

I am currently listening to Jodi Picoult's newest book, Hollow Bones. I am about 2/3 of the way through the book and am enjoying it very much.  I think if you are a fan of hers you will love this one  too,

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour of sleep even though it never seems to make a difference to me when I was able to get that hour. Here in Arizona we don't change our clocks with DST, which I prefer. Congress keeps threatening they will make this the rule for the entire country but they have been saying this for years now.

So that is it for the month of October!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been up to.

Hope you will join me again in November
but until then please stay safe and keep stitching.
