February 2021 Stitching Stats!

My goal this year is to finish as many pieces as I can while stitching most of the days of 2021. I thought posting some monthly statistics might help keep me accountable to myself; so I decided to start posting them at the end of every month.

So here is what I accomplished during the month of February!

I worked on two pieces during the month and the first one was a UFO from The Box.

I stitched on this piece every day from 01/25/21 to 02/14/21 and finished it!
It took nine years for me to finish it but it was worth every stitch and I love it!

Then I moved to a more current WIP

Where I started on 02/15/21

And I ended here with the end of February 02/28/21.

My Stats for the month of February are...
Number of Days Stitched This Month = 28
Number of Days Stitched This Year = 57
Number of Projects Worked on This Month = 2
Number of (different) Projects Worked on This Year = 5
Number of New Projects Started This Month = 0
Number of New Projects Started This Year  = 1
Number of Projects Finished This Month = 1
Number of Projects Finished This Year = 4

While I am here I may as well do January's Stats too since I haven't done them before! 😉

I started off the New Year by stitching and finishing A Year of Celebrations, December.

This was the last section of a year long piece

and I finished it on 01/01/21 - Happy New Year!!

Then on the second I picked up Holidays Are Mother's Day!, Easter Mom

This was my January starting point

I stitched on this piece from 01/02 to 01/10 with the exception of 01/04
and then again 01/19 to 01/24/21 at which time it was a finish!!

I even had a new start in January on 01/11/21!
The Witch Is In
I worked on her daily from the 11th until the 17th and she was also a finish!

My Stats for the month of January were...
Number of Days Stitched This Month = 29
Number of Days Stitched This Year = 29
Number of Projects Worked on This Month = 4
Number of Projects Worked on This Year = 4
Number of New Projects Started This Month = 1
Number of New Projects Started This Year  = 1
Number of Projects Finished This Month = 3
Number of Projects Finished This Year = 3

Thanks for taking the time to read my recap!

Thanks for stopping by,
see ya next time!

You have been very productive Faith! Good idea to keep a record of your accomplishments. I'm amazed at how much blackwork you got done in such a short period of time. Looking forward to seeing how you finish a year of Celebrations. Great job on getting them all completed. I failed miserably!

You managed to accomplish quite a bit in the first two months of 2021. I think it helps that you focus on one project at a time.

A good idea to set a record of what you are doing - a lot of pretty stitching and finishing. I love the Holidays Are Mother´s Days pattern, really cute.

Rose of Sharon is so beautiful, and your Year of Blackwork is looking great with the colours.
I love A Year of Celebrations, will you frame it as is or separate them?
Those bunnies are so adorable, just in time for Easter!
That witch, love her!

What a great start to the year you had, especially with a finish on New Year's Day and even more since! I'm about to read the remainder of your blog and am keeping my fingers crossed that you were able to carry on just as successfully. Let's see... :)
